Jane Kroese, FNP-C
Jane Kroese grew up on a farm in the rural northwest Iowa town of Hull. She obtained her associates degree in nursing from St. Luke’s College of Nursing in Sioux City, IA graduating suma cum laude, and started working as an RN in long-term care/skilled nursing while she finished her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Dordt College, graduating a year later in 2010.
She continued to work in skilled nursing, home health, and hospice as she worked toward a Masters in Nursing from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she graduated in 2015. She specialized in Family Practice and has been board certified and practicing as a family nurse practitioner since 2015.
Jane moved to Southern California in August of 2015 for an adventure. She is thrilled to be working in Internal Medicine with Dr. Salada and her staff. Jane’s passion for geriatric patients fits in well with Dr. Salada’s patient population and with the work they do at Redwood Terrace in their assisted, long-term, and skilled nursing facilities. She also enjoys preventative medicine, homeopathic medicine, and discussing and educating patients on diet and exercise. Jane strongly believes health is made up of a multitude of facets including mental, physical, social, and spiritual health, and all aspects need to be addressed in order to achieve optimal overall health.
Jane is board certified and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and also a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work she loves to travel — visiting family and friends back home in Iowa, across the country, and internationally. Jane enjoys baking, reading and exercising.
